Certified Professional Accountants (CPA) Afghanistan is the only professional accountancy body of Afghanistan responsible for the regulation of professional accountants, audit firms and learning providers. CPA Afghanistan officially starts its operations from March 2018.

As per the CPA Afghanistan regulations, an individuals who has completed the professional qualifications (mentioned below) with three years of practical experience in accounting & finance or audit so the CPA Afghanistan will provide them an individual membership.

CPA Afghanistan has adopted the ACCA as the recognized professional qualification. Other qualifications are also recognized by CPA Afghanistan for individual membership e.g. ICAEW, AICPA, CPA Canada, CPA Australia, CA Bangladesh, CA India, CA Pakistan and CA Sri Lanka.
