Members Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

All members of CPA Afghanistan must complete a minimum of 120 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) within a three-year rolling period. CPA Afghanistan offers numerous opportunities to fulfill these requirements, including seminars, workshops, online courses, and industry-specific training sessions. These CPD activities help members stay updated with the latest developments in accounting, auditing, and financial regulations. By enhancing their knowledge and skills, members can remain competitive and deliver high-quality services in a rapidly evolving professional environment.
Members are also responsible for maintaining detailed records of their CPD activities and must submit an annual self-declaration confirming their compliance. This ensures accountability and reinforces the importance of lifelong learning within the profession. Regular CPD not only strengthens technical expertise but also fosters ethical decision-making and adaptability. Ultimately, these efforts benefit the members, their organizations, and the broader financial ecosystem by promoting excellence and maintaining public trust.
