Professional Standards Committee (PSC)

The Professional Standard Committee (PSC) is established by the approval of the CPA Afghanistan Board to act in accordance with the CPA Afghanistan rules and regulation, and in line with international best practices, and advice on matters related to;

- Adoption and implementation of international standards for use in Afghanistan
- Development of national guidance to support the standards implementation
- Policy matters related to professional standards and regulation of accountancy profession

The PSC consist of Five professional technical members. This committee is overseen by the CPA Board and assists CPA Afghanistan management with operational matters related to adoption and implementation of related policies and professional standards.
