Membership and Licensing Department (MLD)

The Membership & Licensing Department (MLD) of CPA Afghanistan serves as the primary technical unit managing key membership and licensing activities. It is responsible for awarding membership to individual members and issuing or renewing practice (operating) licenses for Audit firms and learning providers (LPs). The department maintains a comprehensive registry and database of members and license holders, ensuring accurate records. To uphold professional standards, MLD organizes CPD sessions and monitors members’ annual CPD declarations. It also oversees the Approved Employer Program, fostering collaboration with organizations that support professional development. These efforts ensure that CPA Afghanistan members maintain competence and contribute to the profession's growth.
